Where we're at

Wendy and I conducted a round of feedback on our rough draft DVD of Wings of the Sea. Thanks to Steve Kress, Tony Gaston and Colin French...also to three classes of Bainbridge Island, WA gradeschoolers and some wonderful staff and volunteers at the Seattle Aquarium. We're now ready to move forward, armed with all of their advice and suggestions.

Laurie Savard has completed ten beautiful backgrounds for our Seabird Symphony. Jamie Maxfield, when not hard at work doing animation for Time Warp Trio, is drawing sequences of tufted puffin, pigeon guillemot, common murre and ancient murrelet behaviors for us, that will show a breeding season on a Northwest island. Next, Karen Lewis will be expertly joining the foreground and background into a seamless whole.

Some suggestions from kids in particular were for more "live birds." I would like to add some links from the website that will show some live video of alcids. Any suggestions for this would be appreciated. Other interesting links are always welcome, as are updates on what folks are up to. Drop a line!! info@wingsofthesea.com
